Tonight! I shall bear witness
to false testimony, imbibe the
cheapest of spirits, and burn
down the burden of civility
with it! Tonight! I will lie,
beg, borrow, and steal
my way to tobacco, foreign
bedsheets, and suspect
situations. Tonight!
I will cavort with nefarious
characters, loose women,
and those whose
blood simply won't
let them settle
for anything south
of the line between
living and knowing
you're alive.
